Starting Level 5

 

On July 26th I  started another pole on what to paint next. 

1st - Three Chaos Trolls

2nd - Three Gorgons

3rd - Three Mummy Tomb Kings

 

These trolls I found on Telegram in a group called Oldhammer STL 
(labeled Retro Fantasy Ruined Trolls). 

 

 

Paint scheme is rather simple. I used "Kantor Blue" and "Corax White" for skin colors. "Gehenna's Gold" & "Runefang Steel" for metal bitz.  "White Scar" for teeth.  Washed most everything in either "Agrax Earthshade" or "Skeleton Horde". 

So for Tiny Quest, I'm looking for retro Games Workshop miniatures. But I don't really know of any Gorgon or Medusa models for the late 80s to late 90s era. So I searched high and low and couldn't find something I liked. I eventually just settled with this model above (no clue where I found it). It came with a whole team of Snake people for a Bloodbowl team. I'm assuming this was suppose to be either the Coach or Apothecary for the team. I removed here staff and book and shrunk her down.

 "Flash Gitz Yellow", "Warpstone Glow", and "Moot Green" for skin, "Runefang Steel" for metal bikini, and washed with  either "Agrax Earthshade" or "Skeleton Horde". 

I found these on Telegram in a group that no longer exists.  I used two for generic mummies and one for the Tomb King.

"Moot Green" for rotting flesh, "Screaming Skull" bandages, pick out some metal and wood. "Sotek Green",  "Gehenna's Gold", & "Runefang Steel" for armor and weapons. Wash everything with  "Agrax Earthshade".

I'm up to 511 monsters painted, 535 monsters 3D printed of the 558 needed as of 8/4/25.  

Only 47 monsters left to finish the entire Old World monster encounter table.
