Final Look at LVL 3, and then start LVL 4

 So last post I finished all the monsters needed for the Level 3 Monster Encounter table, but I forgot to do the video, showing them all at once, so lets show that here.

I'm in the Warhammer Quest! Facebook group. In that group on June 27th, I started a pole asking what I should paint from the Level 3 Table first.

The results were:

1st: Stone Trolls

2nd: Jezzail Gun Teams

And tied for 3rd: Mummies & Beasts of Nurgle 

Lets start with some trolls. Through Telegram I found the 6th edition Stone Trolls, which were exactly what I wanted. They are shrank down smaller than 67% for width and depth so they would fit on my normal sized base. Went with the classic blue skin and soft white underbelly paint scheme.

Next we have Jezzail Gun Teams. These were part of a large group of Skaven STLs I found on Telegram. 

2nd to last row, near the middle is the Jezzail Gun Team.

I painted these very similar to my Plague Monks, "Warpstone Glow" green robes, with "Corax White" hoods, "Kislev Flesh" skin and fur (wash skin with "skeleton Horde" wash fur with "Agrax Earthshade"), pick out details like metal, wood, & Bags, and we are all done.

 

 

Next up, classic Mummies. These mummies pre-date Khemrian armies in Warhammer, back when all undead was under one book. I lifted these from Telegram as well, choosing two different models for a little variation. "Moot Green" rotting flesh, "Screaming Skull" bandages, pick out some metal and wood. Wash everything with  "Agrax Earthshade" and all done.

Lastly for today, we get Beasts of Nurgle. There have been many generations of this model. This may be the oldest version. Keeping with all my previous Nurgle deamons, the base color is "Flash Gitz Yellow" with a "Agraz Earthshade" wash. Used "Emperor's Children" pink for tentacles (again washed with Agrax Earthshade). "Troll Slayer Orange" for the underbelly, pick out some "Mephiston Red" lips & Eye Slits, and "White Scar" for  Claws, Teeth, Eyes, and ends of tentacles.

 

I'm up to 457 monsters painted, 535 monsters 3D printed of the 558 needed as of 7/5/25. 

Only 101 monsters left to finish the entire Old World monster encounter tables.
