Lots of Large monsters and a 3rd cookie sheet complete.

So I did another pole asking what I should paint next as I work through the Level 4 Encounter table.

 1st: Juggernauts of Khorne

2nd: Dragon Ogres

3rd: Skaven Plague Priests/Lords

Starting with Juggies, I found the model I wanted, sadly its not as good a quality of scan as I would like. Its just one piece (instead of the 6 pieces each leg, head, and body), with some of the detail poorly defined.  This STL came from Telegram.

Found in STLHammer_Workshop group on Telegram.

I wanted this model over newer ones (or the really ugly old one). This was a model I once owned back in late 90s early 2000s. I had converted several metal bloodletters models to ride them back in the day for my fantasy daemon army.

I stayed with the traditional paint scheme for these. "Mephiston Red", "Gehenna's Gold", "Abaddon  Black" & "Runefang Steel" for most of the body, using some "Administratum Grey" for highlights. Then did the face/skull area in "Screaming Skull" with "White Scar" Teeth.  Washed most everything in either "Agrax Earthshade" or "Skeleton Horde". Last detail being "Flash Gits Yellow" for the eyes.

Four Juggernauts of Khorne, no riders yet, those arrive in the expansions.

We added "mounted" rules in our Lustria expansion, which we continue into the Norsca expansion. In the Norsca expansion, Juggernauts can have either Chaos Warriors or Bloodletters riding them into battle. When I get to that expansion, I will make the riders that can be magnetized to them.

Next up, we have Dragon Ogres.

I have always loved Dragon Ogres. I had the old metal models once upon a time. I have the new larger plastic ones, that I currently use for Kings of War. I think I paid $23 for these STLS (plus Old School Naggash, Bloodthirster 1998 version, and a Taur'ruk) on Cults3d.com. Leao is who I bought the Dragon Ogres from, but at some point the models got reported, and were deleted from his available models. I have seen them available on Telegram for free.

3 Dragon Ogres. I mirrored the center Dragon Ogre's lower body to give a little more variety to them.

Paint scheme: "Sotek Green", "Xereus Purple" lower body, with "Kislev Flesh". Pick out some "Runefang Steel" and "Genhenna's Gold" for metal bits. "XV-88" for wood handles on weapons. Some "Aboddon Black" here and there. Pick out "White Scar" for teeth and claws.  And as usual washed most everything in either "Agrax Earthshade" or "Skeleton Horde".

Last model for today is Bull Centaur Champion. This is yet another model sculpted by Fabelzel. This one was not included in Tonoborus's Chaos Dwarf Pack. I found it on Telegram. I painted him to match the normal Bull Centaurs I did earlier.

This paint scheme uses all the same colors used on the Juggernauts above. With the only really difference is, I dry brushed "white scar" over the bull body section, and them washed that with "Black Templar".

You'll notice I skipped doing the Skaven Plague Priests/Lords. I need either one model that took up 2 spaces or two models that took up 1 space to complete my 3rd cookie sheet (there are 3 Plague Priests). So I will paint those up next.

Though that means I can show off the 3rd Cookie sheet here.

This cookie sheet has 135 monsters. The 2nd sheet has 154. And the first sheet has 176 monsters.

I'm up to 465 monsters painted, 535 monsters 3D printed of the 558 needed as of 7/12/25.

Only 93 monsters left to finish the entire Old World monster encounter table.

That's all for this post, may your lantern always stay lit.

DeMagic Tutor out.
