It's been almost 2 months since my last update.
Two major things have been slowing me down.
First my oldest child came home to visit. This was back in April. This is relevant because we turned their old bedroom into our 3D print room. While they were back we moved all the 3D print stuff into the garage. We still haven't moved it back, so we haven't printed a new miniature since before April 15th. I do have a few model's I still haven't painted that were printed before this time.
The 2nd cause for delay is, I've actually got to start playing Warhammer Quest using my miniatures. We have now played 11 sessions (usually 2 per week). I've started a blog following these adventures. https://blackhillswarhammerquest.blogspot.com/
I have like Plates of miniatures set up to print Orcs & Goblins once the print room is re-assembled.
Now back to normal Paint Blog stuff.
I've wanted the classic glorious 80s hair Dark Elf Witches since I started this project. Sadly by the time I needed to print and paint them, I couldn't find those specific STLs. I found and printed the proxi's below:
A person by the name Ystlund made these (along with proxis for all sorts of High Elves, Dark Elves, Undead, and Chaos). Sadly it appear they got copy right struck, and most of thier miniatures have been removed from Cults3D and other STL sites.
I then came across some A.I. STL proxis that looked rather close to the ones I wanted.
These are very close, but some details are just off and the hair didn't turn out great once printed.
I did print off enough of these to replace the 6 Witches and 1 champion. But before I could paint them, Scans of the originals finally showed up on Telegram

Most of my daemons for Dungeon Level 1-3 use STLs I got from Tonoborus on Cults3d.com
I like the vast majority of them. But the Daemonettes don't quit hit right, so I found Scans of the old models I used to have.
Here are the ones I was using painted up:

| The new Daemonettes match up to the rest of my Slaanesh Daemons better now. |
So thats 17 models printed and painted to replace 17 I already had done. Not only am I getting less done, I'm spending time re-doing what was already done. I'm not going to get the 600 some miniatures I have left done this year, but I'm still gonna try to make a dent.
That's all for this post, may your lantern always stay lit.
DeMagic Tutor out.
